This contest should be great!!! I can't wait to see all the submissions, and to see the new multi-bracket tournaments (think Final Four) in full force. It's especially cool that non-dancers can win a trip to Houston by being active judges!

Even though this is the ABDCrew Tour - you do NOT need a crew to participate in this contest. In fact, since the prize is two free tickets per show, you're probably better off competing alone or with just one other person. Let us know if you need more information about the contest! We can't wait to see your entries.

I like the judge contest, I personally have been sooo busy getting routines choreographed for our studios competition teams as well as editing and mixing their music, plus my kids started dancing this year. I haven't had alot of time lately to be on dancejam a whole bunch. So I love that I can still be a judge and have a chance to win the houston trip. Which would be awesome. Houston is the closest the tour is coming to my city and that's over 6 hours away. it would be nice if after the tour is over they offered a dvd to order for everyone who couldn't travel to the show.

You can still apply to any city of your choice but you would need to go to that city in case you win the contest.

Is there any formal procedure (signing up, etc.) to compete for the best judge title??

There is no formal procedure in order to qualify as Best Judge for the ABDC contest. Just vote for your favorite dancer and go for that good r/w ratio.
Remember, your overall ratio from voting on previous tournaments will effect your ratio for the ABDC contest.
